Up For Auction Is A Fantastic, Unused, Set Of early Troemner Coin Style Balance Scale Weights.

I Believe These Weights Were A Value Added, Aftermarket Purchase, Made Especially For Gold Merchants To Add Precision To Their Original Gold Scales Weight Sets.

The Unique Large Round Tin Box Is Approximately 1-5/8 Inch Dia. And Has A Very Clean Legible Label. Looks To Be Unused.

The Set Contains All 12 Of The Original Weights: (10, 5, 2x2, & 1) Coin Style Brass Pennyweights And The (6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, & ½) Grain Size Flat Plate Weights.

Weights: No Dents, Dings, Or Noteworthy Scratches Or Plating Wear ( Original Gilding and Patina ) To The Metalwork. Probably Unused.
