These Are The Short Ones

These are the plastic feet, original items, that TEAC installed on their 2300, 2340, 3300, 3340, and probably other tape decks in the 1970's.  If you have a need for these, and if you've been looking for them for a while, then you already know how difficult they are to locate!  As more of these get broken in use, that leaves fewer of them for you to find and purchase, and supply and demand drives up the price.  Kind of like '57 Chevys...they aren't making any more of them!

These feet will probably fit older model Teac decks but I can't state that as a fact.  They mount with three machine screws with the holes being 2- 5/16" apart center to center. 

I have more than one pair of these available so the photos in this listing may or may not be photos of the actual feet you will receive.  Fear not, this is the only style that I’m offering with this listing, and these feet come with a 14 day return policy to protect you.

These feet are pretty easy to break but you already know that as that is probably the reason your looking for them in the first place.  But they also bring with them a fairly substantial "tip over" risk.  I go to great lengths addressing this problem in another listing where I’m offering custom made wooden feet that address this “tip over” issue as well as dressing up the tape deck.  And you might want to look at that listing before you purchase these Teac feet.   But if you want the originals, here they are.

If yours got broken chances are that the mounting machine screws got bent at the same time.  ASK ME when you purchase and I can include new mounting screws at no cost.  But you have to ask.
