Leitz Wetzlar german made brass microscope in very good condition. There are two lenses on a swivel for quick change of the lenses. One of the lenses is marked: Bausch and Lomb Opt. Co. Rchester, NY USA                                                                                                43x       4mm  0.65 the other lens is marked: Spencer, Buffalo, USA           125271                                           10x    16mm. N.AO.25 The serial number on the front of the microscope is shown in one of the pictures but is 100461 which according to a chart I found dates this to 1907. There is also a decal on the back Chicago Lens & Instrument Co., Chicago , Illinois. I have left the item as I found it and have not polished any of the brass. I will leave that to the buyer if he wishes to do so. The brass surfaces seem to have a clear coating over them. I welcome any questions that you may have about this item. Thank you for looking.
