Antique Primitive Shaker 19C Woven Ash Splint Square Gathering Basket AAFA.
What sets this basket apart is it's shape. It is a beautiful old square basket. My mother owned this basket for about 50 years. It is a very nice size.......it measures 12 inches tall by 10 inches wide by 10 inches deep and has a great patina!!!!!!!! The bottom is in perfect condition but there are some scattered areas on the side where the weave is broken. Fortunately not many but please review the high definition pictures carefully for condition detail. Also there is a piece of wire where it looks like some kind of repair was made on one side where the handle meets the basket. Despite this I really think this basket is a really great primitive find and would make a nice display piece.
