This colorful old advertising blotter from the1920's features a sweet rosy cheeked baby hugging her puppy dog. So very cute! The blotter was illustrated by the famous artist Charles Twelvetrees, well known for his illustrations on postcards and other paper ephemera of chubby-cheeked children with funny captions. This original old blotter has a copy of his signature on front and measures approximately 9" x 3 7/8". This vintage milk ad blotter was provided by the Cranford Dairy as a promo for its milk products. The Cranford Dairy were agents for "Raritan Valley Farms" in New Jersey. This blotter advertises their milk products, cream, butter, buttermilk, cheese & eggs. The blotter back has not been used and is completely clean, with no stains.  The corners are very slightly rubbed and there is a pre-punched hole in the top. I consider this great piece of advertising to be in excellent vintage condition.  The colors are still very vibrant and the lettering and caption completely clear.  Great addition to an Advertising, Dairy or Children's Ephemera Collection!
