A SINGLE ORIGINAL, NOT A REPRODUCTION, VINTAGE TOBACCO / CIGARETTE CARD 

 

 

A somewhat rare vintage larger format photographic cigarette card not often available on Ebay. The card is from a set of A SERIES CHAMPION DOGS issued in England by JOHN SINCLAIR LTD and inserted in their brands of cigarettes in 1938.

On the front of the card is a striking image of a named Champion dog.

 On the reverse of the card is the manufactures name, the series name, card number and a brief of record of the achievements in the show ring of the dog pictured.

The card measures approx 3 X 2½ inches and is in GOOD condition with light age marking and wear as would be expected with a card of this age.

Cards such as these make great additions to breed collections and when custom framed can look really stunning. They also make great breed show trophys.
