With excellent year round river flow and a pretty good 2-wheel drive dirt road that follows the course of the river, you will find that this is a great place to mine by yourself in seclusion - or bring the whole family and have a blast in the great outdoors while hopefully making some money while you’re at it! Note that the road will most likely be inaccessible to all but the ruggedest vehicles in winter time due to snow at this altitude since it is probably not plowed or maintained that well. But during the spring, summer and fall, even when it rains, it is a pretty well kept road and you will not need 4-wheel drive. The road runs from about 25 feet to 150 feet away from the river and although the area is well-grown with brush and timber, there is relatively easy access to the river from the road itself. The river ranges from about 6 to 15 feet wide and I would estimate is between 1 and 2 feet deep in most spots. If you have a medium-sized camper (or a medium-sized trailer or RV), there is a spot close to the river off of the road on your claim to camp - in fact, there’s room for several trailers or RV’s at this spot.
