Model 1895 Prussian woolen felt ersatz spiked helmet that is constructed of pressed field gray woolen felt. The Prussian eagle front plate at front, spike, and trim are of gilt brass. The black leather chin strap with both brass adjustment buckles is an original and original to the helmet. The sides retain both the national and Prussian cockades. The interior inner liner is of black oilcloth and securely affixed to the helmet. It exhibits wear and age to but is completely intact. The helmet remains undamaged and in excellent condition. 5251
