Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty #1 - Dell Giant - Movie Adaptation - Aurora

This is a good copy of Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty No. 1 from April 1959 from Dell Publishing Co., Inc.  This features a painted cover by Norm McGary and interior art by Al Hubbard on the full length Sleeping Beauty adaptation and a bonus story.  Comic is very true to the film.   This is part of the Dell Giant series and consists of 100 pages.  (All information from the GCD.) 

These Dell Giants, especially the Disney books, are great books to have around the house.  Perfect beginning books for young kids.  Grandparents can read to their grandkids and relive their childhoods at the same time.  It's also nice to have lower grade copies that you don't have to worry about handling.

I grade this book at Good minus.   Tear in center of book that goes down to the middle of book, so it can be pulled apart about halfway.  Still holds together well as far as reading. Spine damage on bottom.   Pages are off-white and supple.  The book still has great color and gloss.  Check out the large scan for your determination of grade.  Overstreet lists $25.00 in Good.  My starting price should make this an affordable copy for your collection.
