Seller: duck83311 (9,747) 100% Top-Rated Plus, Location: Albion, Idaho, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 390728987578 This is an absolutely stunning Pudding Stone heel slab from Washington state. This is brand new to the market! This is a Jasper Conglomerate usually found in the form of generally rounded pieces ranging in size from pebbles to boulders weighing many tons. Several colors of Jade and Jasper pebbles, often mixed with pebbles of quartz, are cemented by (generally) quartzite into a hard, and durable stone conglomerate. The history of this rock starts in the Huronian period of the Proterozoic era, approximately one billion years ago. During this period, extensive sediments were deposited in oceans, seas, lakes, and other bodies of water. Much of this material, derived by erosion from the older rocks. This is an end slab with enough thickness for another slab. Very solid healed veins/cracks. No pits. Size is listed on the pictures for your convenience. Pictures were taken outside and material wet. Specimen Coloration: All specimens photographed wet to simulate a polished look. The colors you see in the photos are true and accurate as the camera sees them under the circumstances in which they were taken. Longer exposures will make some colors brighter than they appear to the human eye when you are examining them. Monitors vary somewhat in their color balance and the human eye does not always perceive what the camera does. We do not enhance the colors in our photos, but we do tweak the contrast a slight amount if needed to show the differences between adjoining colors, pattern or grain. ** Fractures & Pitting: As with all rocks and minerals, fractures may occur that are not readily apparent to the viewer, although I will try to point out all fractures and pitting that I can see when I list the material. These should not prevent one from working around them to obtain good cabs despite their presence. Payment through PayPal is preferred. If you are sending any other form of payment please let us know.
