This new distributor fits the MID 1980'S-1995 FORD 5.0L 302 Engines that have been coverted from EFI to Carb. **PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST RUN EXTERNAL COIL WITH THIS DISTRIBUTOR and it is included . Coil needs to be 12V and have an output of 40,000 volts or more. This Small Cap HEI Ready-To-Run distributor is made for easy installation. Just hook up the three wires and you are "Ready-To-Run"!! This distributor comes with a 3 year warranty. Whether you are cruising the streets or hitting the track for the weekend, go “Pro” with TSP Ready to Run Distributors. Our Ready to Run distributors have machine polished aluminum housing with an adjustable vacuum adding 10 degrees of advance along with a simple Three-Wire connector and brass bushings. Our Pro Series now features an improved high performance circuit board for use up to 9,000 RPM and screw down cap. The compact design of the cap allows for more clearance around the intake manifold for cars and trucks that do not accept large HEI style cap. SPARK PLUG WIRE DETAILS This listing includes a set of High Performance 8.5 mm BLACK Spiral Core Spark Plug Wires made in the USA by BLOCK PERFORMANCE PARTS. The wires are factory assembled on the both ends so you do NOT need to cut these wires. This application is for mid 1980's thru mid/late 1990's FORD 5.0L 302 with a male cap distributor (included in this listing) Spiral core is the best of both worlds because it gives you high performance without any interference on your radio and electronics. These spiral core wires produce higher performance through improved efficiency, quicker throttle response, and reduced emissions. This includes a set of 8 spark plug wires and a coil wire. Although the photo shows 2 coil wires, only 1 is include. We will send the coil wire with the two 90 degree boots unless you instruct us via an ebay message stating you want the coil wire with the one 90 degree boot and one straight boot. The BPP 350 Spark Plug Wires are a 3 layer, 60,000 volt high voltage ignition wire. The 8.5mm diameter cable provides an increased capacitance value of 20% over 8mm sized wire. First coat is an epdm high dielectric strength inner layer. This provides the initial capacitance values to ensure the high voltage current does not ground out through the jacket. The fiberglass matting is extruded over the EPDM as a dual purpose layer. It virtually eliminates terminal pull off and bonds the inner EPDM first coat to the silicone outer jacket. Our silicone outer jacket resists oil, abrasions, and ensures a radiant temperature rating of 600 degrees. Stainless steel and solid brass terminals are used to maintain the conductivity and high voltage current flow between the voltage source and spark plugs. Our ultra high temperature grey silicone spark plug boots are rated at a radiant temperature of 800 degrees. The high dielectric strength distributor and coil boots eliminate voltage leak through. With all of the highest quality materials used in our BPP350 wire sets, you can be assures you are purchasing one of the finest quality ignition wire sets in the market. The gray spark plug boots are high heat boots that can withstand 50 degrees more heat than standard spark plug boots!
