Seller: rbf120 (1,183) 100%, Location: El Segundo, California, Ships to: US, Item: 351907018847 Large oval beveled plate glass window pane. Please look at photos as they are part of description. I have tried my best to photograph a piece of clear glass. I hope they help. If you have any questions, please ask. This came out the original front entrance door of a house built in 1916 in Signal Hill, CA. 39 3/8" tall by 20" wide. 1/4" thick glass with a 1 1/2" wide bevel. Heavy at 17 pounds. In very good overall condition. The center of the window is very flaw free considering the age. A couple of VERY slight scuffs. Only one scratch of note. About 1" long and not too deep. The outer bevel has scratching all around that is probably from sandpaper used in refinishing the door over the years. This scratching is about 1/4" in from the edge due to edge being covered by the mounting molding. Most of the scratching extends about 1/2" from the edge. This gives you about 1" of unscratched area. The entire edge of the glass is rough. This glass was cut by hand "chipping" the edge to cut the oval. There is only one chip that extends inward of the 1/4" molding line. It extends 1/2" from the edge. It was caused by a poorly placed molding nail so it has been there since the moment of installation. Someone probably swore about that but the window stayed. Maybe a discount was extended! Overall a very nice large piece of vintage beveled glass. Sold as is. Displays very well considering it's age and what it is. Good for Something! This is sold with calculated Fedex shipping to your location. Local pickup is welcome. I am in Los Angeles. This will be packed with LOTS of care!!
