VINTAGE KEDS CONVERSE BROWN HIGH TOPS MADE IN USA SIZE 10 MENS 1920s Please read my auction terms and check out my other auctions. ************************************************************************************** Today I have for bid a very rare pair of nearly 100 year old athletic shoes that date to around 1920. They are unbranded so could be Converse or Keds high tops. There is no size on them but the length shows them to be about a Converse size 10 mens. They were made in USA and are in amazing condition for being almost 100 years old. The canvas has one tear, see pic. They do have some light stains. The rubber is still soft with no hardening anywhere. The bottom is smooth with no tread as these were made before shoes had tread. The ankle patches have no lettering on them and they are made of leather and sewn on. There are ten pairs of eyelets for the laces mounted in leather strips. There are three side vent eyelets mounted in the rubber. I believe the laces are original. They are 12.2" from toe to heel. Note my feedback and bid with confidence.
