This is  a very beautiful, heavy weight, silk brocade Fukuro obi fabric piece. The design which is woven through the fabric is of flying cranes in red, shades of gold and silver on a bright green background. The brocade fabric is backed by a plain silk fabric which is a medium weight in a bright green  colour which matches the main fabric colour. There is no padding in this obi.
The fabric is 30cm wide and is 62cm long . The fabric is in good vintage condition .

This obi fabric would make an exotic cushion cover, table mats, wall hanging or could be used in many craft projects.
