Bottle & Purple Velour Presentation Box.. This 1/3 fl. oz. bottle of SHALIMAR  in its original Guerlain presentation box was purchased at I. Magnin in the early 1970's.  The iconic bottle design, Guerlain's "Flacon Chauve Souris" (Bat bottle), is unsurpassed for its shape and the fragrance is warm, sensual and unforgettable. DETAILS: BOTTLE: Condition: In perfect condition: no chips or scratches. The label, gold-paper with cobalt border, is glued into a well that is an outline of a bat. The iconic blue fan-shaped stopper,   thin inverted glass bottle stem and narrow foot with an "embroidered" design pressed into the foot's glass top, identify POCHET as the bottle's manufacturer. Measurement: 3 1/2-inches H x 2 5/8 -inches W x 7/8-inches D (at the widest part of bottle top by stopper). Contents: 1/3 fl. oz. Hallmarks: Acid etched into foot's base: "BOTTLE MADE IN FRANCE" and "NET CONT 1/ 3 FL OZ".   Perfume Remnants: There is a tiny amount of amber colored liquid at the bottle's bottom. Other details: The gold "G" button seal, thread and cobalt blue stopper seal are intact. PRESENTATION BOX:  Condition: In great condition and the royal purple velour shows little wear from age and handling. There is a small hole on the left bottom side of the box-See Photo #8.  Measurement: 4 3/4-inches L x 3-inches W x 5/8-inches D. Hallmarks: "Guerlain Paris " is gold-stamped on bottom of the box front. Guerlain's iconic "Marly Horse" (with "Guerlain"written underneath)  is gold-stamped on  the interior of the box's top. The bottle's  nest on the box interior bottom is in good shape.  Staining: There is staining at the top of the well-inset, as the perfume bottle leaked-See Photo #9.
