The 7010 has a brass face. The mortise is intended to be used with a thumb press handle on the outside of the door and a turn knob from the inside of the door. Also will accommodate a thumb turn lock for the dead bolt from the inside of the door if installed on in alignment with the cam provided under the lock cylinder, see pic.
