Vintage Copper Font Ornate Cast Iron Base Oil Lamp with Eagle Burner & Chimney
You are bidding on the beautiful Vintage Copper Font Ornate Cast Iron Base Oil Lamp with Eagle Burner & Chimney shown in the pictures. It is used with normal wear showing. The chimney is in overall good condition with one small chip found on the bottom rim from years of use. The chimney also shows light purple, which would indicate late 1890s or early 1900s . The copper font shows minor wear and has a smell of kerosene inside, but is dry and appears not to have been used for several years. I did put a new wick in the Eagle burner. The cast iron base has a beautiful ornate design. No number or manufacturers mark was found on the bottom of the iron base. There is some rust showing on the base. Please review the pictures for condition and measurements. Unknown year of manufacture. In picture #8 is attached a kitchen magnet to show the base is iron.
