Vintage BUCO AMERICAN PRO Motorcycle Helmet SUPER RARE Prototype Excellent Bell . Up for sale here we have a AWESOME Old School 1974 Collectible and EXTREMELY RARE BUCO AMERICAN PRO Motorcycle Helmet. We have a little story that goes with this amazing find. We just purchased this gem at a recent estate sale. The sale was privately run by the son of the original owner to this helmet. His father was an amazing man. He was a pilot, engineer, designer, etc.. His father worked for Matchbox as a engineer designing the die cast for the cars way back. When I found this helmet in a box the son said that his father also worked for Buco. He then told me that he may have worked with the design of this specific helmet, but he didn't know for sure. This helmet is in unbelievable condition. It almost looks like new old stock, but we believe it was assembled and maybe worn once or something. The helmet has the original plastic bag it came in, the box, and some plastic separators still in plastic. The inner lining is super clean (like new), but of course the foam is falling out due to age. The helmet has a few very light marks on the shell, but it may just be from being stored in the box. It doesn't have any scuffs, any real scratches, or any chips at all whatsoever. The box shows some storage age and the openings on the side are slightly torn upwards from carrying the box most likely. The tags inside the helmet don't tell the size and the box doesn't either. We believe the size is a Medium or Large. All of the Buco writing is under the coating of the helmet and not stickers. The visor is the only place that has a decal sticker (it is on good and only coming up just slightly, really no big deal). As you can see the helmet has popping red, white exterior colors with a blue inner lining. RED, WHITE, and BLUE for the American Pro!! When we found this helmet the visor and face guard were not attached. We had to see what it looked like with them on, so we attached them for the photos. We are very good at research and finding comparisons for the items we sell. Every once in a blue moon we find a very special item such as this. We can't find another just like it. We can't even find any images on the internet. We have owned a lot of Bell helmets, Harley Helmets, and recently found some really cool Buco helmets as well, but we have never seen one as nice as this. If any of you fellow eBayers/ collectors out there want to add some information for us that would be great and very much appreciated. We are having a hard time selling this helmet and we just can't say enough about it. Please view all 12 photos for a better view at contents and condition.
