Antique 19th C HAND Forged WROUGHT IRON Decorated STRAINER UTENSIL Ladle #1. (PLEASE BE AWARE: This auction does not include the rack shown in the photo.) This is a nicely made Decorated Strainer with nice features and is somewhat decorative in the design and form and most likely Pennsylvania in origin. The strainer is very nicely crafted by a blacksmith during the early 1800s and is decorated with 7 Circles of Punched Decoration on the handle. The strainer measures 17.75" in length and is approx 5.5" in diameter at the bowl. This would look so wonderful hanging at your hearth or on the wall with other utensils.
