Beach Boys Surfing USA orginal Capitol first presssing -STEREO 1890-D1. Here is a real nice rare hard to find STEREO Beach Boys classic "Surfin USA” record. This record reached number 2 on the national charts in 1963. First pressing original Capitol March 1963. Why is this rare ? keepin mind, in 1963 stereos were not in every teenager room due to affordibility and avaiablity in portable form. in the early 60'sonly about 20% tops for the "teen ager" targeted total records pressed were stereo pressings for the teen age record buyer. This changed by the lates 60's as stereos were common place by then. In fact, I got my first portable stereo record player for Christmas in 1968. As such,s tereo pressings were therefore less manufactured and harder to find, especially in this shape. We have an amazing near mint vinyl record here. The only reason it is not a mint is there is a name on the label that can be seen in the photo. REALNICE VINYL PRESSING AND REAL CLEAN. The record is a bit better shape than the cover but both nice. This has been at the top of my collection foryears and time for a new home. Own a piece of American Rock and Roll Surf Pop history. Original sleeve in great shape, jacket is a VG+ appears to be no seemsplits some very light age spots on the back, light ring wear on front orginal ad sleeve.
This is for the guy or gal that wants an upgared copy of this surf pop legedary record, even sutable for framing.
