The radio works fine and is clear with strong local stations. Volume knob is tight but works properly. Tuning knob turns easily and works properly. Knob on back of radio to change time and alarm works properly. Alarm works; don't know if sleep function at 9 o'clock position on front dial works, since I don't how to use that function. The chassis is in very good vintage condition with only minor scuff marks and slight discoloration noticeable upon close review. Clock hand circle is slightly cloudy. Tried checking for model info, but back plate did not want to come off easily, so I deferred. There is a cover on the back next to the plug. Cord and plug in good condition. It does not appear to be a model in the 900 series, but its appearance is similar to those models. Although it seems to work well, it has not been tested nor inspected. I think it dates from the 1950's or early 60's. Sold AS IS.
