The cup is characteristic of the beautiful thin walled pottery fabric used by Naratean artists and pottery makers. it is 3" tall and 4" wide. It has a rounded bottom that flares upward to a shoulder and then turns inward to the start of its rim The rim is 2 1/2" in diameter. It has a very small applied handle on one side of the rim. The cup is 100% intact. without any damage or repair. It is brown clay with incising near the bottom and just below the rim. It has the expected use wear as it dated from 100BC to 100 AD It was purchased from noted London collector David Bron from an Israeli collectiom in 2006 Provenance: Ownership History Not Available
