VERY RARE Vintage Late 1800's VAIL Jockey Club Perfume Bottle. VINTAGE late 1800's VAIL BROS. Jockey Club Perfume BEAUTIFUL flacon with frosted ground glass stopper with cork seal Manufactured by VAIL Bros. in the late 1800's where quite a few companies produced their own version of this popular scent. I have not seen one in a 'perfume' version, presumably for women, until now. Casswell and Massey introduced a scent with this name in 1840. Quite a few other companies produced scents under the same name, and it is still available today under that name. Excellent condition as photographed. Cork seal has deteriorated (see photo) Measures approx: 2 " H x 2.25" Diameter NOTE: I have NOT cleaned the flacon, leaving that for the new owner. I would love to have seen this flacon sparkle and shine, but some prefer it's natural vintage state so I have left it so. Green foil label in good condition. Top is a beautiful SUNFLOWER motif.
