Seller: agonizin_reappraisal (9,002) 100%, Location: Nashville, Tennessee, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 150681131462 Here’s another one for all you Marines and Marine Corps enthusiasts! This is a FINE reproduction of the Vietnam-era patch for Sub Unit One of 1st Air/Naval Gunfire Liaison Company. You won’t find one of these just anywhere! Not, of course, allowed on the uniform, but worn on all manner of off-duty civilian caps and clothing as novelty items. Sub Unit One was the temporary designation for 1st ANGLICO elements forward deployed to the Republic of Vietnam! The unit served officially from December 1965 to May 1971, but its headquarters remained in Hawaii while personnel rotated in and out of Vietnam. At one point nearly 75% of 1st ANGLICO Marines were “in country” with Sub Unit One. They supported countless operations alongside USMC, US Army, and other Allied units during this time. NOTE: Please Visit my eBay Store for current full-color and subdued patches for 1st ANGLICO! First ANGLICO answers to I MEF on the west coast. These guys are trained to direct and coordinate naval and air bombardment with allied units on the ground. In Desert Storm they were attached to Saudi forces to direct artillery and air support. Often they are inserted by parachute to forward positions. Like Recon Marines, I believe ANGLICOs are considered to be an elite within an elite! Recent Developments: I'm told that 1st ANGLICO was dissolved in 1993 but has recently been reactivated! Don't know if currently serving in Iraq, Afghanistan or elsewhere in the war on terror. This is a BRAND NEW and UNUSED patch. It is NOT a war relic but a recent manufacture item! Embroidered on white twill with cut edge (non-merrowed) and plastic sealed (iron-on) backing. Colors are clean and bright. See ruler in photo for size comparison. Add $1.00 for shipping. Semper Fi! Thanks for looking! Still haven't found the patch you're seeking? Contacting Me: Click "Ask a question" link above to make initial contact, and I will respond in kind using the “eBay Messaging” forum. Please monitor your e-mail and/or eBay "Messages" tab for my response. I'll share my e-mail address in the response, and you are welcome to communicate with me via e-mail at that point if you wish. (Your e-mail address will only be used for response to questions or transactions. I have no interest in sending unsolicited advertising, and will not share your contact info with anyone.) I try to respond within 24 hours, but hope you understand I do have a life outside eBay, and may not always be so prompt. And please take into account weekends and traditional US holidays. Messages communicating info about a listed item are appreciated ..... but may not get response quite as fast as a message that requires immediate answer. I do have to prioritize every now and then. ;-) Packaging & Reliability: My flat-fee shipping structure covers cost of packaging and postage, and is a best-guess estimate for size and weight of items. It's not an exact science. (I have not raised my shipping fees over the years, despite several postal rate increases.) Items ship in zip-closure poly bags to protect from moisture. Patches usually ship as First Class letters, but multiple items may ship together as a parcel. In my experience, the track record of US Postal Service delivery within the US is practically 100% reliable. I may at my discretion choose tracking and/or insurance for shipments of a certain value. But the best insurance you can have is to make sure you provide a current and correct postal delivery address, and to check your mailbox regularly. Items ship within 1 business day of receiving payment. Check my feedback for satisfied customer testimonials! Feedback: I always post feedback after a completed transaction and always appreciate feedback from satisfied buyers. Normally takes me only a day or two, but sometimes I get behind. Please be patient. Also, if you are dissatisfied in any way, please contact me before posting negative. Maybe there's a misunderstanding, or something we can work out. Return Policy: "No Returns Accepted" is my designated policy, unless an item has a defect or was misrepresented. I go to great lengths to describe each item honestly and accurately, and there’s a ruler in each photo for size comparison. I ask that you be sure of your decision before buying. Please read the description entirely and carefully examine the photo. Ask questions prior to bidding. I try to respond to e-mail inquiries within 24 hours. Please resolve any questions or doubts prior to purchasing. My Expectations: Buyer’s on-file E-mail address is valid, and checked regularly. Buyer's confirmed ship-to address is correct and current for postal delivery. Payment (or communication indicating buyer’s intentions) within three (3) business days is appreciated. If no response, a reminder invoice is sent. If I don't hear from a buyer — in any form — after more than ten (10) business days, a case may eventually be filed with eBay’s Resolution Center to recover the Final Value Fee (eBay’s commission) on a sale not completed. In the case of an auction, this usually results in the item being re-listed. :-( Bottom line: Please contact me if there are circumstances in which you cannot comply with above expectations. Country: United States, Product Type: Patches, Time Period, War: Vietnam, Branch of Service: USMC
