This WW2 US Army USGI Smith-Corona Springfield M1903A3 Rifle Stock is in good, clean condition overall and only shows expected signs of age, service and storage. The stock is well marked and these markings would suggest it was made by the L.C Smith & Corona Typewriter Company sometime between 1942 and 1944. There appears to be a very faint "cartouche" inspection stamp on the left side of the stock that reads "FJA," this would indicate inspection by Lieutenant Colonel Frank J. Atwood.  No cracks or serious damage can be found however there are an assortment of mild blemishes that appear to be from handling and storage. No metal hardware is included with this stock. Total length measures almost exactly 40". Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of condition and conduct your own research to insure proper fit for your rifle, the stock shown is the one you will receive.
