Seller: bensbrowneyes (352) 100%, Location: Holden, Massachusetts, Ships to: US, Item: 272462646703 These two fixtures came out of a home in Waltham MA. They are from the early part of the 20th century. The amber glass on both is in good condition with no cracks or chips that I can see. They measure 10 1/2 inches from base to the top of the ring. One chain is 14 1/4 inches and the other is 19 inches long. The top piece has an opening of 5 3/8 inches (the party that goes on the ceiling.)The base is 5 1/4 inches from side to side and the opening is 3 3/4 inches. They appear to be made of copper over brass or iron. The ceiling plates are copper with a metal lining. Each fixture weighs over 3 lbs. One fixture has glass that is an orange-yellow and the other has glass that is a truer yellow. One fixture is missing the screw that holds the ceiling plate to the nipple. The design of the fixtures are reminiscent of those found in many suburban Boston area homes built in the arts and crafts style in the early 20th century. Color: Amber Glass, Maker: unmarked, Material: Copper
