Vintage HIAWATHA Clockwork 0 Scale American Flyer 5 Car Railroad Train 1936 (D26) This vintage O gauge prewar HIAWATHA 5 car “tinplate” toy train was made by the American Flyer Company in 1936. The 0-4-0 streamlined steam locomotive has a wind-up clockwork mechanism that works. Although the 4 cars of the train are in good condition and 100% original, the couplers are broken off one end of each car. I have pointed out these areas on the photos provided. Unfortunately, the couplers were a very weak design and did not last very long. One coach is missing a wheel set (2 wheels and one axle).
