In this regard, it is sufficient to read and meditate carefully the passages that refer to the passion and death of the Lord and, in particular, the words he pronounced on the cross to obtain copious spiritual fruits of conversion and renewal of life; - Above all - as we said above - the cross is indelible testimony of God's boundless merciful love for every man that must be the true light and consoling certainty, a sure guide in our earthly pilgrimage to the Father's house. At the end of his Letter to the Galatians, with clear and firm tones, the Apostle of the Gentiles writes: "As for me, however, there is no other boast than in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world is for me been crucified, as I am to the world "(Gal 6:14). May these inspired words become a lived experience of grace for each one of us, accepting and thus witnessing with generous docility, the Love of Truth and the Truth of Love that God has revealed in his Only Son, Jesus of Nazareth, and that the Spirit Saint continually updates and perfects in the Church, in souls and in the whole world.
