The vase is signed to the base (Shozan?).The vase is painted with two panels to front and back on a cobalt blue ground with gilt flowers. One panel is painted with a figural scene of warriors and the other panel depicts Bijin ladies in a landscape. The vase has a fine hairline on one side (from the rim down to the middle) and a crack on the other side (also from the rim down).UK postage is by Recorded or Special Delivery.
