These pieces were saved from a Victorian wedding dress. Heavy bridal satin has been embroidered with gold and silver metal cords and threads and ivory and pink silk. The hand embroidery is intact. Many beautiful stitches are used for the highly detailed flowers and foliage. There are couched gold cords, bullion stitch details, satin and other filling stitches. The back has a hand sewn lining. Sash measures about 3 inches wide by 33 inches and is completely hand finished at both ends. Excellent antique condition. May have a little darker area at selvages. Price is for one of the sashes shown.
