AC Immune DC Track Feed Unit used as part of a Track Circuit for Railway Signalling. Track circuits are used to indicate to a signaller when a block of track is occupied by a rail vehicle. The Track Feed Unit was manufactured by Howells Railway Products of Wythenshawe, Manchester in 2000. The unit is visually in good condition as can be seen from the photographs. It is unknown whether the unit is operational or working correctly, it has not been tested and must be assumed to be for spares or display purposes only. The unit measures approx 30cm x 15cm x 15 cm and weighs approx 6.5kg. The unit is being sold on behalf of Poulton and Wyre Railway Society and profits will go towards the restoration of our Fowler Shunter, Class 108 DMU, L&Y First Class Carriage and BR Pigeon carriage all of which are currently under restoration. The Track Feed Unit, along with other items, was removed from a decommissioned Railway Signalling teaching facility and has been stored for a number of years. Delivery to the UK only.
