Takahashi Hiroaki (1871-1945), or Shotei, was a key contributor to the shin-hanga print movement in Japan in the early 20th century.  A wonderfully printed design showing a woman protecting herself from rain and wind with a parasol. The creping process, which was popular in the early twentieth century, adds durability to the paper and tends to intensify color but also changes the dimensions of the woodblock print.  Size 5.75" x 12"
