This beautiful Matted illustration is an Original Page from a lovely book by S.M. Lampson on Dogs, published in 1963, and illustrated by the noted artist Bridget Olerenshaw. Bridget Olerenshaw was one of the top canine artists in Great Britain. She began specializing in canine portraits in 1958 and was commissioned by Country Life to paint the front covers for several Crufts editions of their magazine. Her designs for the "Crufts Club Badges" and her special sets of "puppy" drawings, which were first used in the Golden Jubilee year, are still in current use today. This lovely item measures approximately 7" x 10" and has been Custom Matted in a black "archival quality - acid free" mat , ready for your 10" x 13" frame. These are standard size mats that will fit into a standard size frame you can purchase at your local department store or framing gallery, no custom framing required . Your artwork is shipped flat between sturdy cardboard and comes protected against moisture with a plastic sleeve. It's then carefully packaged to prevent bending or damage during transit.
