I originally purchased them as my algae team for my planted aquariums. Plecos are 5+ months old. No Guarantee on sex. My fish breed true super reds. My fish do not breed or produce albino, calicos or regular plecos. Fish are 1.5" or bigger. Mix of potential males and females but no guarantee on sex of fish. Saturday (11:59 pm PDT) is the last day to order for fish to ship the upcoming Monday. Fish are put on fasting 24 hours before being shipped. Reduced fish poop in the bag an ensures better survival during shipping. I ship Mondays for all orders and I can ship Tuesdays for West coast orders ONLY. Monday shipments have the best chance to arrive in the same week if any delays are encountered. Fish are professionally packed. Fish double-bagged using 4 mil polybags (total 8 mil for 2 bags) that are sealed with an impulse sealer. I also use pure oxygen for each bag. Inner bags have the corners sealed diagonally to prevent ship from getting squished at bag corners. See PICTURES 2 Fish will be bagged in the same bag since the fish sizes are small and I use big bags for all my fish. Fish are shipped in styrofoam insulated box. I use a hot wire cutter for my insulation. Fish are shipped in large 12" x 9" x 9" boxes. Boxes have "Live Fish" stickers since orders are all tagged as USPS "Live animal - other" shipments.
