Kaminaljuyu, sometimes written as Kaminal Juyu, is a Pre-Columbian site of the Mayans primarily occupied from 1500 BC to AD 1200, according to it's Wikipedia entry, which also notes the location has been described as one of the greatest of all archaeological sites in the New World. This is a 35" x 28" piece, a striking rust rubbing of a warrior glyph. Stone rubbing done in Guatemala at this historic site in the mid 1970's by Elizabeth Hamakel. My Mom left me these when she passed away.
