This is a unique republic denarius and this particular coin has great detail and really excellent eye appeal. The obverse has a beautiful image of the bust of Apollo. The reverse is different than most other Republic denarii and depicts the Satyr, Marsyas, standing by a column with a huge wineskin draped over his shoulder. These images are well detailed, and despite some normal wear, The images are clear and the legends are legible. This coin in this nice of condition is a highly sought after Republic denarius.
