Brown Art Deco Bakelite body. Marketed as a device that would cure a variety of ills: Roll a Ray heat massage. Quack medical device manufactured by O.C.Sutton Corporation Wichita, KS. U.S.A. This one was sold before a lawsuit was filed against the company in Federal court in 1948. The suit alleged that the company mislead it's clients claiming that this device would treat lumbago, rheumatism, muscular aches, etc. The courts ordered that the 60 watt bulb be replaced with a 30 watt, and all boxes be destroyed because the medical claims were fraudulent.
