The Rigid Seesnake is a professional quality hand-held inspection camera. It uses a hand-held monitor with a 3 foot semi-rigid cable to reach into small areas and return a lighted view. The flexible-but-stiff cable makes aiming the camera easier than with a flimsy cable. Three optional tips can be clipped onto the end of the camera to allow for a mirror-view, a magnet-tipped extension, and a backward-hooked tip to pull. These tips allow for removal of things from hard-to-reach places. Cheaper similar devices can't be used to retrieve things or unclog places.
Included is an extension cable which allows the camera to have a total reach of about six feet.
The camera cable is a new-in-package replacement for the original camera, which I damaged. Rigid was nice enough to replace it under warranty.
Included are everything the camera came with: monitor, camera cable, mirror tip, magnet tip, grabbing tip, manual, and soft nylon case for all. Additionally included is the 39" extension cable. The only thing missing is the original foam "tray" for the case.
In the time I used this, I discovered leaking plumbing which might have gone on to cause significant undiscovered damage if not for this camera. That alone paid for it! I also used it in my car, to find and remove change and small toys in my air conditioning vents, in my dryer to spot an enormous lint clog that needed removal before it caused a fire, and to help route ethernet cable through a wall.
