An antique rare STANLEY USA No 67 Universal Spokeshave with the removeable LEFT and RIGHT rosewood handles, the purpose being that the handles could be removed and screwed into the holes on the side but also the top when working into corners. This comes with the curved sole plate. This is a removeable curved plate. (This also came with a flat soled plate). The right arm unscrews smoothly. Both the rosewood handles / arms hold firm with no damage.The iron is engraved with the SW - Sweetheart logo along with STANLEY and MADE In USA. The model number is engraved in the main body. The handles are both engraved with L and R. To use it as a working standard spokeshave is still possible, though we are selling this as an antique collectable display. Stanley made these from 1897 - 1941. It is 9 inches long and weighs 207g unpackaged. A rare spokeshave for the collectors.
