This Nazca bowl shows by its art work/design the various types of beans the Nazca ate. The bowl shows lentil, quinua and frijol beans in colors of maroon ocher, yellow and black as can be seen in the pictures. A bowl like this would be used as a serving dish or small storage vessel. The bowl is 2' tall and about 7" in diameter. Typical of the Nazca pottery the bowl is very thin-walled with the use of colors and shapes to make the designs on the bowl very vivid.
