Face 18mm x 11mm.The small striking face would have been suitable for working cutting edges on small spears, razors, axes, etc.Until recently, this anvil was the 'most-anvil-like' of all of these essential but forgotten tools of the Bronze Age.No cutting edge could have been drawn-down or hardened without some form of hammer and an anvil to work on. The anvil is 80mm x 80mm. 350g. Only about 38 are known from the whole of Europe.
