PATENT READS 1878. IT IS A TILTING PITCHER WHICH IS REMOVABLE AND 2 GOBLETS ON THE STAND WHICH IS RARELY FOUND. IT HAS A LARGE CARRYING HANDLE AND REMOVABLE SLOP DISH UNDER THE PITCHER WHICH HAS BEAUTIFUL DETAIL OF A CHERUB AND FLOWERS. INSIDE THE PITCHER IS A PROCELAIN LINING FOR KEEPING THE WATER COLD. THE DETAIL ON THIS PIECE IS AMAZING!! IT HAS THE AGED PATINA CONDITION, HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED OR POLISHED. THE PATTERN IS FLOWERS AND LEAVES AND THE GOBLETS HAVE AN ENGRAVED "P" ON ONE SIDE. IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION, NO DAMAGE, THE GOBLETS HAVE SOME DINGS, UNDERSTANDBLY FOR ITS AGE. PITCHER IS 12 1/2" TALL, THE HEIGHT OF THE PIECE OVERALL WITH THE HANDLE IS 20" AND THE BASE IS 9 1/2" IN DIAMETER. RESEARCHING THIS PIECE LED ME TO A PICTURE AND ARTICLE OF THIS DOUBLE GOBLET TILTING PITCHER SET. IT WAS OF AN IDENTICAL SET, SAME FLORAL PATTERN DATED JUNE 7, 1892 FROM THE MINNESOTA HISTORICAL SOCIETY. IT WAS PRESENTED TO GEORGE A.
