RARE Standby Blueberry can label - Seattle, Washington Minneapolis, Minnesota
Original rare STANDBY blueberry can label. Great looking label of a blueberry pie over a field of fresh Washington State blueberries. Packed for Fine Foods, Inc. in Seattle, Washington and Minneapolis, Minnesota for a 14.5 oz can. Label is copyrighted 1947 so it could be from then, but the copyright is not always the date of the label.
This label was in a collection I recently purchased from the 1970s and I personally have been collecting NW can labels in ernest in the past 7 years and never run across any blueberry can labels from Washington except the common Wildcliffe. So this is very rare in my book.
Label is in very good condition, but does have handling marks & two tears on the glue strip at right (see scan). I will combine shipping on auctions.
