RARE Antique Chinese Opium Lamp Wick Scissors w/ Brass Handle. True wick scissors are very hard to come by. Offered is a set, likely late Qing, of the right size and type to service a modest but elegant plateau. The design is distinctly Chinese and very desirable. The piece is heavy, the handles spotted but brilliant brass, or perhaps gilded brass/bronze. The steel blades are oxidized/corroded as they should be after a century of exposure. A bit loose but stable on the pin axis. You don't see a good pair like these often so priced accordingly. 3.5 inches in length, 2.3 inches across handles; 1.2 ounces in weight
