Seller: lstanfield (440) 99.4%, Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Ships to: US, Item: 323884229181 Up for sale is a very rare silver serving pitcher. The engraving reads "Presented to Dr. W. B. Young by Colored Workingmen of Bon Air Nov. 11. 96." Bon Air was a coal mining town in the late 1800s in the Cumberland Mountains in White County, Tennessee. The small community is still present in the area. There is mention of Dr. W. B. Young on a mining website in the historical section. This is an amazing piece of Tennessee history. Be sure to thoroughly check the photos before purchasing. As you can see, the protruding platters have faults, with one being detached at the top. Also, be sure to check out my other listings! Condition: See photos, Age: 1850-1899
