An amazing standing fantasy figure, possibly making a presentation to the god's, artistically this piece may be related to the ancient Zapotec's. This figure boasts it's very interesting subject matter, detail, pigment, and overall good condition, in antiquity it must have looked quite impressive, unfortunately it has suffered some damage, that being mentioned it does not appear to have any missing pieces, or unstable cracking. 1529 grams in weight, 13 1/2 inches in height, 6 1/2 inches in width (elbow to elbow), 5 3/4 inches in depth. All images were taken by the seller (with no substitutions), utilizing a Canon digital camera and an AmScope, trinocular stereo microscope. Photos 1 thru 7 were shot with the Canon, they reflect the subject figure in varied positions, photos 8 thru 12 were shot with the AmScope, those depict magnified and highly magnified images of the subject artifacts, clay/paste composition, ancient pigment, and various mineral deposits including earthly, and manganese. If an H2O2 test is preformed, images 11 and 12 will document the reaction/results. Upon request, I can/will send you the information that relates to the testing of manganese deposits with H2O2.
