Seller: mesoantiquitycollector (240) 100%, Location: Alberta, Ships to: CA, Europe, US, Item: 163812716295 Pre Columbian, Pottery figure, H2O2 tested, West Mexico, Colima, Age/Description: Late Formative 300 BC 200 AD, Rare 2000 year old sitting figure, smiling peyote vendor, 64 grams, 2 15/16 inches in height, 1 3/4 inches in height, 2 inches in depth, losses to the left side-top of the head, the nose, the left foot-has been repaired, and the top of the right foot has been reattached. This small figure boasts: it's age, subject material, authenticity, rarity, with the expected weathering and deposits of antiquity. Photos: Unless (you are) advised, the images are of the subject artifact, with no substitutions, all photographs were taken by the seller utilizing a Canon Digital Camera and a laboratory quality AmScope Trinocular Stereo Microscope. None of the photos were taken using a flash. Images: Photos 1 thru 7 were taken with the Canon camera, the images reflect the subject artifact positioned at different angles. Photos 8 thru 12 were taken with the AmScope, the images reflect magnified and highly magnified photos of the figures, ancient pigment, low temperature firing marks, earthly deposits and manganese mineral deposits. Images of the chemical test is reflected in photo 12. Comparable digital photographs of known/proven authentic clay/paste composition's, ancient pigment, low temperature firing marks, root marks, earthly and manganese mineral deposits, are available upon request. I could not obtain a "good" image of the clay/paste composition as there are no exposed areas that are not clogged with deposits, low temp firing, marks, etc. The manganese deposits reacted exactly as they should when exposed to H2O2, in fact the reaction was even better than expected.
