Pair of Antique Pewter Boat Shape Teapots
11 1/4" long (spout tip to handle) x 5 5/8"h, c. 1810-1830.
Oval with coved gallerys & shoulder inset hinged lids, ribbed band around the body below the shoulder. Wood handles & finials painted black. On 4 ball feet.
Matching pewter or britannia bodies with slight variation only in the handles. One handle with old repair without loss. Wood finials with hairlines without loss.
Both have a fine old patina & are in remarkable condition with no damage - no dents or dings, cracks or chips. The name "Hatch" lightly incised on the bottoms.
