THE SIZE IS 29 X 9 MM AND 2.49 GRAMS. (Arrowhead is socketed) The Scythians were a unique people. They were among the first to develop and perfect the art of horseback riding, which eventually changed the course of world history and the strategies of war. Mounted soldiers were the key to the Scythian’s success in war. Horseback riding was developed by them to the point where they did not even dismount their horses to eat and drink. The ancient Scythian’s had many bloody tribal customs, including cutting off the heads of slain enemies, and making leather bound drinking cups from the skulls. They lined these trophies with gold and displayed them to impress their guests. We do know from history that their bows could deliver an arrow 521.6 meters which is a little more then 567 yards according to the inscription found in a Greek grave which says "Anaxagoras son of Dimagoras" shot such a bow in the city of Olbia.
