Seller: oddone641 (1,307) 100%, Location: Forest City, Iowa, Ships to: US, Item: 222329989753 I believe this is a 1960's or 1970's older lamp. It is a little rough and will need to have some loving care from someone. It stands 8" in height but will stand taller once a chimney is on. There are globes online that you could try to purchase to go with this but the base (if I measured right) will need to be about 3 1/2" in diameter. The part that holds the bulb is porcelain and the plastic yellow part reminds me of the fired on colors they used on dinnerware in the 1960's which is why I mentioned the 1960 period of time. The part that turns on the lamp says Gilbert and what looks like LI. C. N.Y. and has the patent number 2,783,327 (I am not positive about a couple of those numbers). It also says Und. Lab. and also has the voltage. It is hard for me to read with the dark on dark even with a magnifying glass. If you have any questions that I have not referenced, feel free to contact me. Buyer will pay shg/ins of $17.00. See the other items listed on my auction site. Condition: The metal will need a lot of elbow grease to clean it up and make it shine. The yellow glass has marks that I am not sure how you will clean up, unless you take the lamp apart and repaint. There are some names scratched into the round part that will hold a replacement shade that will need to be bought. It is also scratched into the same part that someone received this for their 17th birthday and their name or the person who gifted it to them. A heart and just some general scratching on that also., Color: Yellow, Material: Mixed Material
